Your Trustee Board
The Schroders Retirement Benefits Scheme (the Scheme) is run independently from Schroders by the Schroder Pension Trustee Limited. It’s governed by a legal document called the Trust Deed and Rules.
The website is only a summary of the Scheme and, if there are any inconsistencies between this website and the Trust Deed and Rules, the Trust Deed and Rules will apply.
The Trustee is responsible for the proper running of the Scheme – from the collection of contributions to the investment of assets and payment of benefits.
The role of the Trustee is to act in your best interests.
In doing so the Trustee works with a number of advisers who provide specialist advice in certain areas such as:

Investments

Administration

Pension payments
Compliance with regulations

Pension's law
Scheme funding
Your Trustee Directors
The Trustee typically meets four times a year to review the ongoing management of the Scheme and the investment of its assets.
The Trustee has an investment committee that reviews defined benefit section and defined contribution section investments on a regular basis and makes recommendations to the Trustee. They typically meet four times a year.
The Trustee and investment committee will meet more often if required.
